The first film I shot with my Gran's Lubitel twin lens camera she gave me. The last time it was used was in the 50s when my dad was little. It has never had colour film in it before. I'm so surprised they came out at all seeing as I had to guess the exposures.
I had the strangest dream last night. Jack White of the white stripes was driving a rather enormous lorry down the hill I live on, which, if you saw it seems quite impossible. But instead of stopping at the bottom, where there is a main road, he just drove straight into the house at the bottom. Afterwards his reason was 'there was treacle on the tyres and it wouldn't stop so it just slipped into the house'. I had to check the house was still there. And it is.
Seeing men buying flowers. The sky and nature. Old childrens stories. The smell of matches, baby lotion and summer. Having a camera in my hand. Seeing/hearing something for the very first time. Flowers and fruit picking. Really tiny things/hideously large things. Developing and printing film. Anything shiny and sparkly. IDEAS.
